Small businesses encounter the same types of risks as Fortune 500 giants. Regulatory issues, employee related litigation, corporate compliance – all could potentially bankrupt a small business. Unfortunately, most small business owners cannot afford to have a full-time, experienced general counsel at $200k per year (or more) on its payroll. And, most outside firms charge at least $400 per hour for their senior level corporate attorneys. With those prices, small businesses are left to fend off legal risks on their own.
Knowing this, Mark developed the Small Business GC program to provide experienced in-house counsel to small- and mid-sized businesses. The program is simple – companies pay a monthly flat rate for an established amount of hourly billable time. The higher the monthly commitment, the cheaper the hourly rate.
